The Canadian Federation of Humane Societies and the BC SPCA are working to create awareness of farm animal transportation issues in Canada, and encourage humane societies, SPCAs, and caring individuals across Canada to help spread the word to encourage the federal government and the CFIA to make progressive changes to Canada’s regulations.

You can make a difference by voicing your support for our recommendations to the federal government using the web-form below. Please submit the form as-is or add your own comments. The CFHS and the BC SPCA will compile these comments and submit them to the CFIA on your behalf.

Your Message: To Whom It May Concern: I would like to voice my support for the BC SPCA's Report to the CFIA on the Proposed Amendments to the Transportation of Animals Regulations. Farm animals presently suffer unnecessarily while being transported long distances in inadequate conditions in Canada. Stronger regulations and more enforcement activities are urgently needed to protect these animals.
