The Canadian Federation of Humane Societies and BC SPCA are working to create awareness of farm animal transportation issues in Canada, and encourage humane societies, SPCAs and caring individuals across Canada to help spread the word to encourage the federal government to make progressive changes to Canada’s regulations.

You can make a difference by voicing your support for our recommendations to Canada’s Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food.

Send a personal letter to Minister Gerry Ritz, asking him to strengthen Canada’s animal transportation regulations. Feel free to use the background information on this site to prepare your letter, but be sure to express your concern in your own words. No postage is required to send letters to the minister or any other Members of Parliament.

Hon. Gerry Ritz, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada
