A significant change has been requested in the animal cruelty case of Daisy Duke in Didsbury, Alberta. In a brief court appearance on June 27, Daniel Haskett and his new lawyer requested that his plea in the animal cruelty case be changed to not guilty. Haskett admitted that he lied in his previous court appearance, indicating that he pleaded guilty in order to put an end to the harassment he was subjected to.
This case will resume in court on October 21 and a decision regarding Haskett’s request is expected to be addressed at that time.
