Preparing a big meal this Easter weekend? Please think about farm animal welfare when making your food choices.
The majority of animal foods sold in Canada come from farms where animals suffer stressful conditions such as overcrowding and confinement in small spaces for most of their lives.
If you choose to buy meat, egg or dairy products, you can support more humane treatment of animals by purchasing only those products certified to meet a higher standard, such as organic, Certified Local Sustainable or BC SPCA certified.
