As the hustle and bustle of the holidays begins to dwindle, many Canadians are making their new year’s resolutions. This year, the Canadian Federation of Humane Societies encourages all Canadians to kick off their new year with a vow to the animals. Make your new year’s commitment a promise to help animals across Canada.

This year, the CFHS will continue its commitment to help increase adoptions, work toward stronger laws and educate Canadians on the importance of spay/neuter and dangers of puppy mills. The Federation will also be developing a process to help prevent unscrupulous vendors from selling pets online. These areas will be our top priority for the coming year. And your new year’s promise to the animals will help us make all the difference!
