This week, May 15-21, is International Dog Bite Prevention Week. The majority of dog bite cases involve children. We encourage all Canadians to help prevent dog bites by sharing these free resources with any parents, child care providers, school teachers, or humane educators they know.
International Dog Bite Prevention Week is a project of Doggone Safe, which is aiming to teach 50,000 children worldwide how to safely interact with dogs over the course of the week. Anyone can learn how to give the classroom presentation and help reach this goal. Find out more here.
