With you, we’ve been improving lives of animals for 55 years!
Dear David, because of your active and dedicated support, together we’ve realized many successes over those years.  However, I’m sure you’ll agree there is still much more to be done.

You’ve helped so many animals.  But, only by working together, can we achieve more! Over the past 6 months we’ve asked our Humane Society & SPCA members and donors like you to help develop a national animal welfare agenda.  This agenda—your agenda—identifies the most pressing issues facing animals in Canada.  Together, with you, we identified these key concerns: Cat overpopulation and barriers to spaying/neutering  Your continued support will allow us to develop a national strategy to end the suffering of cats caused by overpopulation across Canada. David, only with your support we can work to increase the availability of subsidized spay/neuter services across the country.  End the horrific suffering of dogs in puppy millPuppy mills churn out as many puppies as possible, in the shortest time and at the lowest cost.Your donations have allowed us to reach over 3 million Canadians and give them tools to learn how to avoid puppy mills.  But, we need your continued donations this year to reach more people and end puppy mills forever!  Protect farm animalsYour support helped us to revise the Codes of Practice for dairy cattle two years ago; a code that sets some of the highest standards in the world.However, moving forward, all 700 million Canadian farm animals need us to negotiate on their behalf to ensure a more humane life.  David, give today to support our work to end unnecessary pain and suffering on farms.  Stop those who commit horrendous acts of animal cruelty Did you know that the outdated working of our current laws prevent the prosecution of many serious animal abusers?Only with your financial support can we intensify our efforts to engage MPs on the need for modern animal cruelty legislation.  What can you do? David, we’re building a more humane Canada —  but without your renewed financial support, it wouldn’t be possible.Renew your commitment to animals in Canada.  Do it now and improve the lives of animals today!  Can you believe this still happens in Canada:Male beef cattle can still be castrated and hot-iron branded without pain medication?Canadians involved in dog fighting can only be charged with animal cruelty if they are caught at the scene when dog fighting is taking place?These poor animals are suffering for the profit of their owners. The CFHS can solve these problems, but only with your renewed support.
