When Parliament resumed in the spring of 2004, Bill C-10B was re-introduced as Bill C-22. It passed all three readings in the House of Commons on March 8th, 2004, then passed first reading in the Senate on March 9th, 2004. Second reading of C-22 was delayed until April 20th, 2004, when the bill was re-sent to committee.
The bill had not yet been discussed in Committee when Parliament prorogued on May 23rd, 2004.
