In response to the increasing number of dog attacks, and to help the many municipalities across the Canada that are reviewing their animal control bylaws in an effort to help prevent such future incidents, the National Companion Animal Coalition (of which the CFHS is a member) has developed a position paper on the issue of breed bans.[pdf file]
