Offer them the nicest gift that they could ever get!

Sherbrooke, December 19th, 2006 – The Eastern Townships SPA is presently has a big problem; for some unexplained reason, some 15 cats are not getting adopted. Unfortunately, these “forgotten ones” have been waiting impatiently for many weeks now, even months!

Even though we have been doing everything that we can in order to make their stay at our shelter as pleasant as possible, their stay long stay is affecting their moral as well as the moral of the employees who are caring for them. The SPA is calling out to the public! For those of you who are interested in offering the nicest gift possible to these “forgotten ones”, all that you have to do is to come and meet these precious cats at the shelter.

But remember, your decision must be well thought over because adopting a pet is a huge and important responsibility.

“These cats have been stressed for many weeks; therefore we want to be sure that the people who adopt them are not doing it by pity and that their decision has been well thought over,” said Guylaine Lessard, shelter manager. “Our wish is that these cats get adopted and that someone will be loved and cared for.”

The SPA would like to remind you that all the cats and dogs that are up for adoption at its shelter have been examined, dewormed, micro chipped and spayed / neutered. Adoption fees are $98 for a cat and $130 for a dog. People can come to our shelter to see the animals or visit our web site at www.spaestrie.qc.ca. Offer them the best gift that they could ever get!
